Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (225g) full-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) sour cream (or Greek Yogurt)
  • ¼ cup (15g) finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon (3g) lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon (1g) garlic powder
  • Pinch of sea salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Finely chop the fresh chives.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped chives, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Gently stir all the ingredients together until well combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to your liking.
  5. For best flavor, cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.
