Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) Unsalted Butter
- 400g Mini Marshmallows
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
- 6 cups (180g) Plain Cornflakes
- 1 tsp Green Gel Food Coloring
- 1/4 cup Cinnamon Red Hot candies
Instructions:
- In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until it begins to foam slightly.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the pan, stirring constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is about 90% melted and velvety. Remove from heat immediately to avoid overcooking the sugar.
- Quickly stir in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and green gel food coloring until the color is uniform.
- Gently fold in the cornflakes using a lift-and-fold motion until every flake is thoroughly coated in the green marshmallow mixture.
- Grease your hands with butter or non-stick spray. Working quickly, portion the mixture onto parchment paper and shape into small wreaths.
- Press three cinnamon red hot candies onto each wreath to resemble holly berries before the marshmallow sets.
