Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) Unsalted Butter
  • 400g Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
  • 6 cups (180g) Plain Cornflakes
  • 1 tsp Green Gel Food Coloring
  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon Red Hot candies

Instructions:

  1. In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until it begins to foam slightly.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows to the pan, stirring constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is about 90% melted and velvety. Remove from heat immediately to avoid overcooking the sugar.
  3. Quickly stir in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and green gel food coloring until the color is uniform.
  4. Gently fold in the cornflakes using a lift-and-fold motion until every flake is thoroughly coated in the green marshmallow mixture.
  5. Grease your hands with butter or non-stick spray. Working quickly, portion the mixture onto parchment paper and shape into small wreaths.
  6. Press three cinnamon red hot candies onto each wreath to resemble holly berries before the marshmallow sets.
