Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound (454g) pre-made pizza dough, thawed
  • 1 ½ cups (170g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: Sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions:

  1. Combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Roll the pizza dough out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips.
  3. Gently tie each strip of dough into a loose knot.
  4. Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  5. Generously brush each knot with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the knots.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Optional: Broil briefly (but WATCH CAREFULLY!) For a really browned, bubbly cheese topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking. Don’t walk away!
  9. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
