Ingredients:
- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound (454g) pre-made pizza dough, thawed
- 1 ½ cups (170g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional: Sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions:
- Combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Roll the pizza dough out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips.
- Gently tie each strip of dough into a loose knot.
- Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Generously brush each knot with the garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the knots.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optional: Broil briefly (but WATCH CAREFULLY!) For a really browned, bubbly cheese topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking. Don’t walk away!
- Remove from oven and serve immediately.
