Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch slices
  • 1 ½ cups (170g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (optional). Arrange bread slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. Spread a generous amount of garlic butter evenly onto each bread slice.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered bread slices.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  6. Let the bites cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using).
