Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons black pepper, freshly ground preferred
- 1-2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices: paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Whisk thoroughly until all spices are evenly distributed. Make sure there are no clumps of individual spices.
- Transfer the blackened seasoning to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark, and dry place.
