Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then rub each with a small amount of olive oil and a pinch of salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and drizzly.
- Place fillets on the baking sheet and spoon the glaze mixture over the top of each fillet, spreading it to the edges. Bake for 12–15 minutes.
- Switch oven to broil for the final 2 minutes until the glaze bubbles and forms a deep mahogany-colored crust. Remove once the fish flakes easily with a fork.
