Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) Simple Syrup or Honey, for adhesion
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Rainbow Sprinkles (Jimmies style)
  • 6 fl oz (180 ml) Quality Vanilla Vodka
  • 3 fl oz (90 ml) Almond Liqueur (Amaretto)
  • 3 fl oz (90 ml) Heavy Whipping Cream (or premium Irish Cream liqueur)
  • Ice cubes, as needed for shaking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glasses and Garnish: Spread the rainbow sprinkles evenly on a shallow plate. Pour the simple syrup or honey onto a second small plate.
  2. Rim the Glasses: Dip the top rim of each shot glass lightly into the syrup or honey, ensuring only the outer edge is coated. Immediately dip the coated rim into the sprinkles, twisting gently for full coverage. Set the prepared glasses aside.
  3. Combine Liquids: Using a jigger, pour the vanilla vodka, almond liqueur, and heavy cream (or Irish cream) directly into the cocktail shaker tin.
  4. Add Ice and Shake: Fill the shaker 2/3 full with fresh, solid ice cubes. Secure the lid firmly and shake the mixture vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold.
  5. Strain and Serve: Immediately strain the chilled liquid evenly into the four prepared, garnished shot glasses. Serve the Birthday Cake Shot immediately while still icy cold.
