- 1 Tablespoon Coarse Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Allspice
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon Fine Sea Salt (or celery salt for a finer texture)
Instructions:
- Carefully measure all ground spices (Mustard, Paprikas, Pepper, Ginger, Allspice, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Red Pepper Flakes) into a small mixing bowl.
- Add the specified amount of fine sea salt to the bowl.
- Use a small whisk or spoon to vigorously mix all ingredients together for at least 60 seconds, ensuring the heavier spices are evenly distributed throughout.
- Taste test the blend using a clean, dry finger. Adjust salt or heat (red pepper flakes) as needed based on personal preference.
- Transfer the finished seasoning blend immediately into a clean, dry, airtight jar.
- Allow the blend to rest for at least 24 hours before heavy use to allow the flavours to marry properly.
