Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (512g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to act as a sling for easy removal.
  2. Place a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-low heat. Combine the creamy peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter. Stir constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is completely smooth, glossy, and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove from heat immediately and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
