Ingredients:
- 2 cups (512g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to act as a sling for easy removal.
- Place a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-low heat. Combine the creamy peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter. Stir constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is completely smooth, glossy, and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.
- Remove from heat immediately and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
