Ingredients:
- 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup low-fat frozen yogurt
- 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 0.5 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Place the unsweetened almond milk and honey at the bottom of the blender jar first to create a vortex for the frozen ingredients.
- Add the frozen banana slices followed by the frozen mixed berries and the frozen yogurt, layering from softest to hardest.
- Incorporate the lemon zest for brightness.
- Start the blender on the lowest speed to break up frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high speed for 45–60 seconds until the texture holds a soft peak.
