Ingredients:

  • 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup low-fat frozen yogurt
  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Place the unsweetened almond milk and honey at the bottom of the blender jar first to create a vortex for the frozen ingredients.
  2. Add the frozen banana slices followed by the frozen mixed berries and the frozen yogurt, layering from softest to hardest.
  3. Incorporate the lemon zest for brightness.
  4. Start the blender on the lowest speed to break up frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high speed for 45–60 seconds until the texture holds a soft peak.
