Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 12 large cremini or button mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until fully blended.
  4. Using a spoon or small scoop, fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, generously packing it in.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
