Ingredients:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 12 large cremini or button mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until fully blended.
- Using a spoon or small scoop, fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, generously packing it in.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
