Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) fresh or frozen corn kernels
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the baking dish by greasing it with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and heavy cream until well combined.
- Add the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the mixture.
- Stir in the corn kernels until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
