Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (300g) fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the baking dish by greasing it with butter or nonstick spray.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and heavy cream until well combined.
  4. Add the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the mixture.
  5. Stir in the corn kernels until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
