Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water (110°F / 43°C)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can clams, drained (or 1 cup fresh clams, cooked and chopped)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup white wine (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl. Add warm water and olive oil; combine until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add clams (and white wine if using), oregano, and red pepper flakes; cook until heated through. Stir in ricotta cheese; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with the pizza stone inside. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread the clam filling evenly over the dough, top with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone (or place the baking sheet in the oven). Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  5. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and enjoy!
