  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Your favorite dipping sauce (e.g., honey mustard, ranch dressing)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground sausage and shredded cheese.
  3. Sprinkle flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using) into the bowl.
  4. Use your hands or a spatula to mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll into balls; place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
