Ingredients:

  • 2 slices (60g) sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp (30g) full fat cream cheese
  • 1/2 ripe avocado (75g)
  • 1 tsp (5ml) lemon juice
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the avocado, lemon juice, and salt. Mash with a fork until chunky-smooth.
  2. Toast the sourdough bread until crisp. Spread the softened cream cheese edge-to-edge on both slices of bread to create a moisture barrier.
  3. Spread the avocado mash over one slice of cream-cheese-coated bread. Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread and press down gently to set the layers.
