  • 2 (6-ounce/170g each) salmon fillets, skin on
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (5g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2.5g)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2.5g)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (2.5g)
  • Lemon wedges, fresh herbs (dill, parsley, thyme) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Important for crispy skin!
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Brush or spoon the oil mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring to cover the skin side well.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Helps with even cooking.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't overcrowded.
  6. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Use an instant-read thermometer to be sure!
  7. Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs, if desired.
