- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt (5g)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (2.5g)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2.5g)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (2.5g)
- Lemon wedges, fresh herbs (dill, parsley, thyme) for garnish
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Important for crispy skin!
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Brush or spoon the oil mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring to cover the skin side well.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Helps with even cooking.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't overcrowded.
- Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Use an instant-read thermometer to be sure!
- Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs, if desired.
