Ingredients:
- 2 large russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs / 680 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or chives)
Instructions:
- Wash and peel (if desired) the russet potatoes. Cut them into small, uniform cubes (about ½ inch).
- Place the cubed potatoes in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly tender but not fully cooked. Drain and let cool for a few minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the cooked potato cubes and gently mix until all pieces are coated in the seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
