Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons Liquid Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Pinch of Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Finely Chopped Pistachios or Toasted Coconut Flakes (Optional Garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature. Place it in the mixing bowl.
  2. Using the whisk or spatula, vigorously beat the softened cream cheese until it is light and fluffy—aim for no lumps whatsoever.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to the bowl. Whisk gently until just combined and smooth. Do not over-whisk once the yogurt is in.
  4. Fold in the orange zest, lemon zest, and the tiny pinch of salt using the spatula to ensure the zest is evenly distributed without deflating the mixture.
  5. Taste the dip. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or tang by adding a few more drops of lemon juice, as desired.
  6. Cover the bowl with cling film and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with optional nuts or coconut, and serve immediately with your favourite fresh fruit.
